Version 3.0 Beta preview has been released. Main feature is support for SportIdent
electronic punching system. It havs been successfully used on all events with
SportIdent in Slovenia.
This version is Beta preview
because of some limitation of SportIdent support. It can not read cards version
6, and it can read only 30 split times from SI cards. Users who don't use SportIdent
doesn't have to worry about the 'Beta' status of the software.
It also containes few bux fixes, and small enhancements.

New version of OEvent has been released (2.5.1.). It mainly covers bug fixes,
but it also have some smaller enhancements. All registered users can download
(and use, of course) this version for free.
Couple of weeks ago OEvent was succesfully used in Finland in World Cup in Ski-orienteering
(using EMIT system).
From now on you can join our affiliate program. It enables you to get new versions
of OEvent at a discount price. Read about it here.
10. February 2001
OEvent is not freeware any more. From now on it is shareware. The reason for
this is that I could no longer maintain OEvent under freeware licence. I found
that I can not spend enough time working on OEvent, since I was working on other
projects which were profitable. However, in a way this is a good thing since
users of OEvent will get more features. Otherwise I would have to stop maintaining
OEvent.
Anyway, I have lots of ideas and plans, so keep visiting this site. Among other
plans is support for control descriptions, maybe course setting and SportIdent
one day. And of course many smaller enhancements and improvments.
